Principal Message:

Welcome to Palmetto Elementary, home of the Gators, and where our students, staff, parents, and community members are “Gatoriffic!” I am grateful to be the principal of this amazing school, where our staff works hard every day to ensure that students love school and love learning. At Palmetto Elementary, we strive to achieve a balance of academic achievement and social development in an environment steeped in kindness and respect.  High expectations and differentiated instruction are the cornerstones of learning that lead students to achieving their best in an inclusive school community that values diversity and celebrates success. I welcome you to come out and visit “our little school in the big woods” to learn why we are proud to be a “Palmetto Gator!”

Assistant Principal Message:

Hello Palmetto Gators!

I am so excited to work with the students, families, and staff at Palmetto Elementary as your 2016-2017 Assistant Principal! This is my sixth year with Collier County Public Schools and my 14th year in education. I would like to personally welcome all families to Palmetto Elementary! I am eager to meet each and every one of you and especially look forward to meeting and greeting our students every morning!

I believe that all students have the ability to learn, and it is our job to provide the supports necessary for your child to be successful. A strong relationship between school and home provides continuity for the student and a deeper understanding of the importance of education. It is my goal to ensure your child is academically supported and educated in a safe learning environment. I encourage you to discuss with me any concerns or suggestions you may have in order to promote a positive year of learning at Palmetto Elementary. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
