• Free & Reduced Meals

    DEAR PARENT/GUARDIAN:

The School District of Collier County Nutrition Services Department serves nutritious meals each school day. Eligible children may get meals free or at a reduced price. All meals served meet nutrition standards as specified by the United States Department of Agriculture. If your child has been determined by a doctor to have a disability and this disability prevents the child from eating the regular school meal, the school will make any substitutions prescribed by a medical professional at no extra charge. Please click here to find the Physician’s Request Form for Special Diets.

If you now receive Food Stamps (SNAP) or TANF for your child, your child is eligible for free meals. You will receive a notice of your child's eligibility in the mail. If you do not want these benefits, you must notify the Department of Nutrition Services.

Applications submitted for the 2016-2017 School Year, will not be processed until the second week of August.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

If the child you are applying for is a foster child and the legal responsibility of a welfare agency or court, please contact us at 239-377-0297 to have this child approved.
