What is Assistive Technology?
…any item, piece of equipment or product system, whether commercially off the shelf, modified or customized, that increases, maintains, or improves the functional capabilities of children with disabilities.
Collier County Public Schools has two ESE Assistive Technology Specialists who have received special training to assist students and teachers in the utilization of technology to support the curriculum.
