We make the bowls for Empty Bowls...
The basic idea for an Empty Bowls event is simple.
Guests are served soup in a handmade ceramic bowl in exchange for a cash donation to fight hunger.
They are asked to keep their bowl as a reminder of the meal’s purpose.
All donations go to a local organization that fights hunger.
Our members will be busy creating bowls on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 - 3:15 weekly.
Donations of work from other potters in the community are always welcome.
Collier County students can earn community service hours for their involvement in this worthy cause.
