Collier County Public Schools is excited to host the 3rd Annual 5K Walk-Run on December 2, 2017, at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Administrative Center.

Last year's event was a huge success with more than 1,600 people register from all over the county. 100% of schools participated with students, staff, and families.

There are three options to choose from:

    • 5K Competitive Race - chipped (timed)
    • 5K Fun Run - for those who do not want to compete
    • One-Mile Walk

This event is designed to bring the focus of health and wellness to Collier County students, teachers, school staff, and the community. The school district is committed to promoting wellness, nutrition, and an active lifestyle.

The race will benefit health and wellness initiatives at 50 traditional Collier County Public Schools. Like last year, 100% of the proceeds will be earmarked for each school-based health and wellness team's wellness initiatives for students and staff.

Supporting this 5K Walk-Run helps impact all 47,000 CCPS students. This is one of the few initiatives that can offer that scope of impact.
