Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida is a not for profit partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers - all working together to inspire young people to dream big and reach their potential. Junior Achievement’s hands-on, experiential programs teach the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to students in grades K-12 all over the world. Volunteers are provided with comprehensive training and materials, and are asked to commit less than 10 hours of their time per year. K is for Kids Foundation, Inc. The vision of this not-for-profit 501©(3) organization based in Naples is to make sure every child in Collier County has access to quality books through their main programs Friends of the School Library and Building Book Nooks for Kids. K is for Kids® Foundation increases children’s access to books in libraries, schools, stores, and other nonprofits, and provides children with young mentors to encourage their love of reading. |
