What Makes Our Library Special?
Flexible Access – Welcome! We encourage all students & teachers to come into the media center, at their convenience, to check out books, work on projects, and complete research. Our hours: 8:30 a.m.-3:15p.m. daily.

Friendly Staff - Mrs. Myers and Mrs. Wyss love to help students find books they will enjoy reading and we also like to help our patrons locate books to meet classroom needs.
Reading Promotion Programs - We offer motivational reading programs such as Reading Counts, Florida Reading Association Books (Grades K-2), and the annual Sunshine State Young Reader's Award Program (Grades 3-5) complete with ice cream parties!
Our Huge Inventory - We have over 20,000 books in areas such as: biography, non-fiction, audio books, fiction, early readers, picture books, reference materials, reading partner materials, and a nice assortment of books written in Spanish, as well as, bilingual materials written in Spanish and English.
LOE Morning News – Our fantastic morning news show is run entirely by our awesome 5th grade students with assistance from Mrs. Myers.
Scholastic Book Fairs - Please support our busy media center by shopping twice a year. We have special evenings for families to shop together. Information for each fair appears on the LOE Website and hard copies are sent home 2 weeks prior to the fair, so parents know the shopping times for their children. We use every penny we earn from the sales to purchase new books for our wonderful media center. Thank you for your support!
Please visit the LOE Media Center and “Check It Out!”
