    Dr. Tobin Walcott
Welcome to Golden Gate High School a Collier County Public School.  It is my honor to be given the opportunity to rise into the position of principal and serve our school and community. We look forward to working with you as part of our Titan family. Our faculty and staff are here to assist you as needed.  Respect, self-leadership, hard work, dedication, and teamwork are some of the characteristics of doing things The Titan Way

Students are capable of pursuing higher level course work in a rigorous academic environment and that is what we strive to provide. Our curriculum is differentiated and designed to prepare our students for college courses.  We were a Phase 1 Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) school and encourage teachers to use a blended learning model to deliver the core curriculum to the students of Golden Gate. Parents, teachers, and students work together to build and maintain a strong network of support so that our students are prepared to gain acceptance and have success in the college of their choice. Our teachers are encouraged to include parent access to the digital learning platforms used in each content area.

Golden Gate High School continues to have a mandatory uniform policy.

At Golden Gate High School, our parents are welcomed as partners in their child’s education.  We offer opportunities for parental involvement throughout the school year. Parents are strongly encouraged to play a supportive role in their child’s academic education. It is also important that you are involved in the creation and participation of co-curricular activities.  When parents are active in their child’s education, the entire school, and its’ community benefits.

It is our mission to continue to improve the relationship and involvement of parents, volunteers, and the community. In order to facilitate that involvement, we invite you to become a member of our School Advisory Council (S.A.C.), iSTEM Conference, academic booster clubs, and athletic events.
