How much does it cost to take a Community Education Class?
The fees for each course are listed in thecourse catalog and on our online registration system. In some cases, there will be an additional charge for textbooks, materials or supplies used by the student.
Any adult may register. Most classes are open to youths if certain conditions are met. For more information, contact the Adult + Community Education office at (239) 377-1234.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for classes will not be given after the first class. If you need to withdraw from a class after it has started, a prorated credit voucher, based on the number of classes remaining and the date the withdrawal was requested, may be obtained for use toward any future class fee. Credit vouchers issued on or after June 1, 2013, are valid for 12 months.
Please contact our office at (239) 377-1234 with any refund/withdrawal requests.
Full refunds are given if we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment.
Please note the following special circumstances:
Materials fees and textbook purchases are nonrefundable once class has started.
For cooking or classes meeting two or fewer times, you must contact our office two (2) or more business days prior to the start date of your class to qualify for a full refund of your registration fee.
There are no refunds for courses that are delivered via our online vendor, World Education or Ed2Go.
Refunds are not issued for missed classes and classes are not pro-rated if you sign up after a class has started.
