Child Care
> Return to Services Offered to the Public
Child Care Services are available to current daytime LWIT students, employees of Collier County Public Schools (CCPS), and the public. The Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology is pleased to offer affordable child care services in a licensed, on-site facility. The facility, the Learning Partners Early Education and Care Center, is open Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on all days that school is in session for students and on teacher workdays. The Center is operated by a full-time, highly qualified staff of instructional and non-instructional employees. Students in LWIT's Early Childhood Education program also work in the facility, under the supervision of trained staff.
Children from six weeks through five years of age may be enrolled in the Center, which charges weekly rates. Current LWIT students pay just $105 per week for preschool-aged children (2-5 years old), $125 per week for toddlers and $145 per week for infants. CCPS employees and the general public pay $135 per week for preschoolers, $155 for toddlers and $175 for infants. In addition, there is a one-time $10 registration fee and a $50 materials fee charged each semester.
Students and CCPS employees can be confident that their children are nearby under the caring eye of skilled childhood education professionals. Children at Learning Partners Center will have fun, develop their skills and be well cared for.
