Pre-Engineering at Naples High School
The Architectural and Pre-Engineering Program at Naples High School are each
a five course sequence designed to help you explore technology related careers
and to prepare you for two or four year college programs. Each class uses
state-of-the-art technology equipment and software, and is taught in a laboratory
setting that involves projects rather than lectures to learn the material.
Classes focus on problem solving and encouraging students to work in teams.
In many cases, students may actually earn credit through special agreements
with area colleges and vocational schools.

Who Should Take the Class
The student who enjoys math and science will benefit from exploring at least
part of this program. Students in the program range from the top students
to the students who require four years to complete a college preparatory math
program. Students must, at a minimum, be capable of meeting a two-year college
mathematics requirement by the end of their high school program. Career orientated
students who may not be interested in engineering may still benefit from the
program.
