Academic Booster Club

The Naples High School Academic Booster Cub was established in 1986. Its purpose is to recognize, reward and encourage academic achievement and excellence by our students. ABC also strives to express our appreciation to our teachers and staff by hosting teacher luncheons, etc. and by financially sponsoring the many academic clubs that our teachers provide for our students. ABC club is open to all parents, friends, alumni, teachers, and anyone interested in helping to improve our Naples High community.

Our meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of each month (no summer meetings) at 7:30 a.m. (Yes, drop off your student and come to our meeting) in the Principal's Conference Room near the front desk of Naples High School. We hope you can join us!!

To help you keep track of your efforts you can now download the Volunteer Log Sheet. This sheet is for your personal reference as a way to help you keep track of your hours during the school year. Our volunteer hours are VERY important to our school and will be used to calculate our school's overall grade as well as be a part of our school improvement plan.

It's very important that your hours be counted!

The attached form is FOR YOUR USE ONLY! Toward the end of the school year (Spring 2013) I will contact you to record your volunteer hours for the school year. I will be looking for a total hours only, not a breakdown of when and how many hours per event! I hope this log helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

MESSAGE FROM THE VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Hello Volunteers!

The school year is in full swing and off to a "GOLDEN" start!  We've already had several volunteer opportunities and have lots more to come!

I want to say thanks to all of you who have stepped forward as volunteers.  To help you keep track of your efforts I have attached the Volunteer Log Sheet that we used last year.  This sheet is for your personal reference as a way to help you keep track of your hours during the school year.  Our volunteer hours are VERY important to our school and will be used to calculate our school's overall grade as well as be a part of our school improvement plan.  It's very important that your hours be counted!    

Please be sure that you have registered on the Collier County School District's website as a volunteer for Naples High.  If you have transferred to NHS from another school or just moved up from your middle school, you will need to amend your on-line application to include Naples High.  This is the only way your hours can be counted for Naples High School!  If you have any trouble with this process please contact Susan Zenz at NHS or feel free to contact me!

We are still not sure if the badge system for volunteers at NHS tracks your volunteer hours. So be sure and use the attached sheet.   Toward the end of the school year. I will contact you to record your volunteer hours for the school year.  I hope this log helps!  Please let me know if you have any questions.
