Love
by Rose Mary V.Love is like a rose
So tender and sweet
Love is like the man
You are yearning to meet
Love is what we have
Just you and me.
The definition of love is
The man that destiny has given me.
In Remembrance of Kyle I only met you once,
But that once was just enough.
I could tell you were filled with love and life.
Sadly, I never had the pleasure of meeting you again.
Your life was taken so soon,
No one should go so young.
But I can tell you are still around,
Seeing everything we do,
Watching over all your friends,
And everyone who loves you.
No longer can we see you, no longer can we hear you,
Ah, but these are only simple limitations of the human mind. For you are still around,
For all to bid good day.
Your life was filled with things you loved,
People who loved you so.
Many shall grieve your passing,
No one shall ever forget.
As long as you are remembered,
You will never be gone.
For a soul never dies as long as we hold them close,
And what place closer than in our hearts.
You were a wonderful person and this we shall never forget.By: Malinda F.
Letter Poem Dear Kyle,
Your warm smile and your welcoming nature
are sure to be remembered. You tried to make the world better.
And it was! You taught others to enjoy life,
no matter how we felt. You reminded us that our problems not that big
in the grand scheme of things. You taught us to love and treasure life itself!
We know you had problems with your heart,
but it was a heart of gold.Anytime we cry out in distress
we shall think of all that you have taught us.As you look down upon us from heaven,
fear not!Your live lessons will be forever
followed and taught. You may be gone,
but your legacy shall be everlasting.
Your Loyal Admirer and Friend

Fall
by Laura N.Only the tears I've cried, is all I have to
show for all the times I've tried regretting my
lost pride.Changing is something not everyone can do I was a
fool to think I could get that from someone like
you.Over and over you proved you were cold--
I don't understand how your type felt right to
my soul.Pretending hurts more than having nothing
at all--Because when you have nothing
to pretend there's no chance to--Fall
Backtrack
by Laura N.I always thought what I was doing
is what had to be done--
I never stopped to think I would have to
turn and run.
From my decisions certain precisions had to be
made, if I didn't understand that eventually
I would have watched us fade.
I never played the game before, but I had to
master it for you if out of this I wanted more.
All this time-never once did I regret, all the long
hours we spent.
Now my whole visual is bent--and in my heart
you've placed yet another dent.
The only thing I'm left with is skeptism,
no trust for anything that's called realism.
All I have now are the cold facts/which leaves me
with one other question--Why didn't I
move forward--instead of refract
and backtrack?Only The Good Die Young
by Laura N.Do you know where you're going? and how
to get there?
Do you even know you're gone and how much
we care?
Do you hear me everynight when I'm deep
in prayer?
A beautiful soul that will always play a
huge role, finally makes it out of depression's
hole.
I can feel you near, your crazy voice I now
long to hear--Please have no fear
I'll always be around--For you to pick on
in spirit rather than sound.
I know you were lost, but now you're found.
You see, when the tears fell after the
phone had rung--I knew they weren't
kidding because--
only the good die young.Dedicated in memory of F.J.N. the 3rd.
Tears
by Laura N.Like a river they flow
With nowhere to go--
As they fall to the floor
And with every word spoken
My eyes prepare me for more
An ocean at my feet
Overflows with every heartbeat
I cannot speak--My heart is breaking
My body is still, but my thoughs are shaking
This cannot be true--
I cannot possibly be losing you
This is it all of my fears
This is the end--and these are my...tears.
