Full-text articles from more than 600 magazines, updated daily. Periodical back files from 1986. More than 16,000 timeline event descriptions. More than 15,000 photographs, maps and graphics. More than 41,000 source documents, including diaries, letters, recordings and more. Full-text articles from encyclopedias and almanacs. Hundreds of audio and video clips and much more.

LITERATURE RESOURCE CENTER
Biographical and bibliographic information for more than 120,000 authors. Over 285,000 full-text articles from more than 130 literary journals. Merriam-Webster's Encyclopedia of Literature featuring 10,000 literary terms. More than 5,000 relevant web sites and special collections.

OPPOSING VIEWPOINTS CENTER
Based on the acclaimed social issues series published by Greenhaven Press, as well as core reference content from other Gale and Macmillan Reference USA sources, including selections from Bioethics for Students. A dynamic online library of current event topics--the facts, as well as the arguments, of each topic's proponents and detractors.

SIRS RESEARCHER
A general reference database with thousands of full-text articles on social sciences, life sciences, history, economics, politics, global issues, and more. Selected articles from more than 1,200 domestic and international newspapers, magazines, journals and government publications can be accessed instantaneously, even at remote locations away from the library.

SIRS RENAISSANCE
Provides dynamic information on architecture & design, culture, literature, multimedia, music, performing arts, philosophy & religion, and visual arts. Full-text articles are selected from more than 1,000 domestic and international publications. Many articles are accompanied by full-color images, including art reproductions, photographs and illustrations. Features include: award recipients; biographies; literary corner; new content & hot topics; recommended references; spotlight of the month and glossary of the arts.

SIRS GOVERNMENT REPORTER
Delivers thousands of full-text documents, summaries and graphics concerning a wide variety of topics: health, science, economics, environment, politics, foreign affairs, business and industry. Articles and graphics are carefully selected according to strict criteria with regard to content and age appropriateness. Additional content provides current and historic government documents; landmark and recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions; information about U.S. Justices, U.S. Presidents, elected leaders, federal departments and agencies. National Archives Documents and Country Profiles are also included.

FCAT EXPLORER
Direct link to the Florida Department of Education Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) sample tests. The USERID is the Last Name and 1st Initial of the First Name. The PASSWORD is your student number.

COLLIER COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY
Direct link to the Collier County Public LIbrary web site. On-line databases are available to students with a CCPL library card.

EBSCOhost Web
Comprehensive collection of databases, including general, health and business databases (i.e., MasterFILE Premier, HealthSource and Business Source File, plus Funks & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia. MasterFILE Premier includes searchable full text for over 1,860 journals (with PDF coverage for 1,100 journals), searchable full text for nearly 5,000 Magill's Book Reviews, and Essential Documents in American History, a database of over 1,000 original historical documents. Remote access requires library card number. MasterFILE Premier full-text title list;  Business Source Elite full-text titles list; Health Source (Consumer edition) full-text titles list.

Electric Library
General database of indexed content from magazines, reference and general books, and radio/TV transcripts, plus maps and images. Remote access requires library card number.

Facts.com
Includes the searchable full text content of the Facts On File World News Digest since 1980 and the News Archives from 1950-79. Includes the latest two weeks of Reuters news, plus the World Almanac and World Almanac Encyclopedia and other resources. General resource for news, current events, issues and personalities in modern history. Remote access requires library card number.

GaleNet
Includes two databases: 1) Biography Resource Center with the Complete Marquis Who's Who. Biography Resource Center includes full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals; Who's Who, updated monthly, offers reference information on an additional 900,000 people. 2) Literature Resource Center, comprising Scriber Writer's Series, and the Twayne World, US, and English Authors titles. The Scribner series includes essays on over 1,600 authors and literary genres. The Twayne series contains the full text of 200 books and 600 full-text titles. Available from library workstations only.

NoveList
NoveList is a Reader's Advisory tool offering fiction readers book reviews, what to read lists by authors and plot topics (who, what, where, when, etc.) and informative lists. Remote access requires library card number.
