Looking Back : The 1960s

The Naples High School Band had 14 majorettes in 1960. According to the yearbook "...a fresh shoe shine is necessary for all formations."

In 1964, Naples High students used in the latest in high-tech equipment to produce the yearbook.
Campus leaders enjoyed a fresh soda in 1964.
Seashells on Naples beaches were still plentiful in 1961.	A "pert French maid counsels these "tittering 20's girls" in the 1965 production of The Boy Friend.
Golf was already popular in Naples in 1968, as these NHS students spent an afternoon on the green at the Moorings Country cCub.
Life was tough for Freshmen in 1969.	Senior favorites pose in Caribbean Gardens in 1969.
The best thing about the seniors were the cheerleaders at the Powderpuff games in 1969.
