PARENT INFORMATION

The links above and to the left will guide you, the parent or guardian of a student at Naples High School, to information that may be helpful and useful. The School Advisory Committee (SAC) meetings are open to any and all parents. We invite you to attend.

In an effort to use the latest technology to communicate with you, the parent, we invite you to click on the "Parent E-mail" link. By signing up for parent e-mail you will get the latest information about what is going on at Naples High School. We send out a mailing about once a month.

Also, let me know if you are interested in meeting new parents and getting them signed up for ABC at the Middle School Information Meeting on March 18th at 6:30 p.m..  I could really use your help!

NEW SCHOOL CALENDAR READY FOR PARENTS

The School District of Collier County’s 2010/2011 School Calendar is posted online for parents to view.  To view it, go to the home page of the school district Web site – www.collierschools.com.   There is a link right there on the page. The calendar, completed by a district calendar committee, now bears the stamp of approval of the School Board.

Some calendar dates for families to note:

  • The 2010/2011 school year begins for students on August 23, 2010
  • The school year ends for students on June 9, 2011
  • Winter Break runs from December 20-31, 2010
  • Spring Break runs from March 21-25, 2011

There is a new two-page format for the school calendar this year.  The second page provides a narrative to be used with the first page – the actual calendar.  The narrative includes an overview, breaks down student days, shows days when school is not in session for teachers and students, lists staff development days – which are days off for students, and gives dates for Interims, Report Cards, and all Early Dismissal Days.
