About Us:
The User Support team is the liason between the Technology Department's technical staff and the end users. This team provides telephone support for all Technology Department systems, handling over 16,500 calls per year. Staff logs and tracks each call until all questions have been answered and problems are resolved. 73% of the Help Desk calls are resolved immediately, another 17% are resolved within 24 hours and only 10% remain unresolved after 24 hours. In addition to the Help Desk, the User Support Team trains end users on administrative software, Outlook (e-mail), and Internet/intranet applications. The team also provides end user documentation in the form of User Report Manuals, Process Runtime Checklists, and On-Line Help.
