Security Awareness

As a valued employee, you are a part of the security strategy.  You know the information you work with on a daily basis, you understand its value and how it can be protected.  In most cases, by simply exercising common sense and security's best practices, you will decisively stop unauthorized parties from accessing the district’s assets. We depend on your involvement to actively prevent security breaches; additionally, you must exercise care to avoid the internal errors that all too often create prime opportunities for security incidents. Our overall goal is to communicate district policies and encourage compliance, enhance awareness of district information security, and educate you about information security techniques you can apply not only in the workplace, but for your personal protection as well.
