ESE Parent Survey Available Online
Parents with students in the Exceptional Student Education Program (ESE) have an opportunity to share information with the state through a survey that addresses the following question: How well is your school supporting your involvement in your child’s education? The Florida Department of Education is conducting the parent survey now through July 1, 2010, seeking input from parents of children with an IEP (Individual Educational Plan) in preschool through 12th grade. States are required to report the information to the federal government on an annual basis.
Go online to www.ESEsurvey.com to complete the survey. No names are released in any report, and all responses are confidential.
Responses to the survey provide important information for planning and monitoring improvement activities. The survey is conducted only once a year, and gives parents a wonderful opportunity to be heard.
For more information, visit the School District of Collier County’s ESE department Web site at www.collier.k12.fl.us/ese/ or view the survey information in English or Spanish. Return to Home Page
