CCPS Pre-K is a high quality early childhood education program. The goal is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and beyond. Comprehensive resources are provided for social-emotional development, health and nutrition, and family engagement. Children and families who participate in CCPS Pre-K enjoy a variety of educational opportunities.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRE-K OPTIONS?Full Day Head Start Pre-K Program (NO COST TO PARENTS)
The Head Start program is available to children of disadvantaged families and requires pre-approval. This program is offered at multiple sites. Eligible children must turn 3 or 4 years old by September 1 of the current school year.- Children in foster care
- Families experiencing homelessness or house sharing (living "doubled-up" due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or similar reason)
- Families receiving public assistance (TANF, SSI, SNAP)
- Families earning below the Federal Poverty Guideline
Full Day VPK Program (combined with Parent Pay)
The full day VPK program is limited to space availability and parents are responsible for additional fees. This program is offered at multiple sites. Eligible children must turn 4 years old by September 1 of the current school year.- Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis
Half Day VPK at Sabal Palm Elementary School (NO COST TO PARENTS)
The half day VPK program is limited to space availability and offers 3-hour morning and afternoon sessions. Eligible children must turn 4 years old by September 1 of the current school year.- Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis

FAMILIES THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY APPLIED TO CCPS PRE-K
- Re-apply online: click here
STEP 2 RECEIVE CONTACT FROM CCPS PRE-K REPRESENTATIVE
- You will receive a phone call or email from a representative of the Collier County Public Schools Pre-K Office.
- If your child is eligible for Head Start, you may be invited to an in-person meeting.
If you are told that a Pre-K spot is available for your child, proceed to Step 3 below.
STEP 3 APPLY FOR CERTIFICATE FROM EARLY LEARNING COALITION

STEP 4 PROVIDE CERTIFICATE TO CCPS
- Once you receive the certificate from Early Learning Coalition, provide it to your CCPS Pre-K contact.
After receiving Pre-K acceptance letter from Collier County Public Schools, complete Step 5 below.
STEP 5 COMPLETE CCPS REGISTRATION
