Message from Principal Margaux Horne

  • School Principal" At Highlands Elementary, our staff is committed to celebrating cultural diversity while emphasizing student accountability in academic achievement and responsibility. We do this by creating a nurturing, safe environment for your students. Our staff is committed to making learning meaningful, engaging and inspiring. Our motivation is to make each student a life- long learner. All Highlands Elementary staff work to build strong relationships with our students, parents and community members. You will encounter a friendly, child-centered community of learners in which we listen and appreciate the support provided to our students as they strive to reach their learning goals. Our school is fortunate to have established partnerships with the Miracle Grant and the Guadalupe Center. These programs are committed to providing academic support for our students every day after school. We look forward to working with you and your children, and invite you to be a school volunteer! A strong family-school partnership will result in an outstanding education for your child. "
