Message from Principal Sharon Wheeler
As principal of Lely Elementary, I am thrilled to extend to you a warm welcome to our school. We are the Lely Lions, where our goal is to daily build leadership and life skills in our students while creating a culture that is committed to academic excellence and maximizing student performance. As a Leader In Me school, Lely Elementary’s commitment is to develop in our students skills and self confidence that they need to lead their lives and succeed in school and beyond. Lely’s foundation is built on family, and we are excited to partner with the community, staff, students, and families; valuing everyone’s input, as we strive to make Lely a great place to learn and grow. As school begins, be sure to stay in touch with school news and events through our School Advisory Council (SAC), Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Parent Lighthouse Team, School Newsletter, and our Thursday Communication folder (blue folder).
