Academic World Quest
Purpose and Nature:
- The objective of the program is to promote student awareness of world affairs and of the role of the United States in the international political system. Students should be in Advanced Studies and in good academic standing. Students practice alone and with small teams using a study guide building general knowledge of world affairs. The top team from the competition in March will go to Washington DC to compete at the National Tournament in April. The Naples tournament is sponsored by Naples Council on World Affairs.

Debate Team
Purpose and Nature:
- Provide students with an opportunity to explore local and global issues through a structured exchange of ideas. Students research, draft, and present speeches in a manner that also allows for a constructive clash of ideas with other students. As most schools do not offer Debate courses, the development of these skills is done through an afterschool program. Through Debate students gain multiple skills that they carry with them into adulthood: public speaking, non-verbal communication, current event analysis, constructive criticism, ethos, pathos, and logos, among many others.

Purpose and Nature:
- FCA campus ministry is the largest Christian campus ministry in America. It is initiated by students with the purpose of providing opportunities for students to be impacted for Jesus Christ through engagement in fellowship, teamwork, fun, and competition. The FCA Chapter is a student-lead club that hosts weekly meetings called Huddles which are open to all NHS students, faculty, and staff who are interested in learning more about the life and philosophies of Jesus Christ. FCA also hosts numerous community-building activities and service projects throughout the school year.

Interact Club
Purpose and Nature:
- Interact is a club for young people ages 13-18 who want to join to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about. Interact Club is sponsored by The Rotary Club of Naples which is part of Rotary International. Interact has a membership of over 250,000 youth in more than 11,000 clubs worldwide. It is one of Rotary's fastest growing programs. Interacts name is a combination of the words international and action. With clubs in over 120 countries and geographical areas. Interact is truly an international phenomenon. Through Interact, you can carry out hands-on service projects, develop leadership skills and make international connections.

JROTC-Color Guard
Purpose and Nature:
- Color Guard teaches cadets synchronized movements while holding flags and rifles. This team is the face of JROTC in the community. Color Guard teaches cadets how to use JROTC equipment properly and improve their self confidence in public. Members of Color Guard participate in competitions alongside Drill Team against other schools.

Purpose and Nature:
- Junior Civitan is an international organization of community service clubs, designed by Civitan International and supported by the local sponsoring Neapolitan Civitan Club to enhance leadership and community service skills in teens. The Naples Junior Civitan Club is an active and caring group of teens who receive credit for volunteer hours and qualify for Civitan scholarships. Key Club

Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. Today, Key Club exists on more than 5,000 high school campuses, primarily in the United States and Canada.

Mock Trial
Purpose and Nature:
- Using a hypothetical case, teams present both sides of a case in the roles of attorneys and witnesses. School district personnel and voluntary bar associations organize the local county and circuit competitions. One team per circuit advances to the state competition organized by the Justice Teaching Center. Students learn critical thinking skills, legal reasoning, analysis, and professionalism, in addition to the structure and function of the courts and the legal process.

Rifle Team (JROTC)
Purpose and Nature:
- Rifle Team is dedicated to teaching and developing competition-style shooting. Cadets are taught the proper and safe way to shoot and handle air rifles.
