Message from Principal Jessica Davis

  • School Principal" Poinciana believes in academic excellence and embraces our diverse student population. Our goal is provide a safe, nurturing learning environment centered on student success and meeting each individual child’s need. Our dedicated staff is passionate about education, hardworking, caring and willing to go above and beyond to connect with children and achieve student success. We encourage and invite you to join in fostering our feeling of “family” by becoming involved at Poinciana through Student-Led Conferences, school-wide functions, PTO/SAC, book fairs, reading celebrations, volunteering or participating in academic conversations. We believe in the power of building connections between parents, teachers, staff and students. This creates a collaborative environment in which all children reach their fullest potential. Please feel free to visit our school or call anytime; parents, family, community members, and business partners are always welcome! "



    • PTO will be hosting a No Uniform Day on Friday, May 21st.
    • Reminder, May 28th is now a Student Virtual Learning Day.
    • Poinciana will be closed on Monday, May 31st in honor of Memorial Day.
    • Career Day is a great  opportunity for parents and volunteers from the community to share their profession with the students at Poinciana Elementary School.  This year our event will be virtual and will take place June 1st—4th . If you are interested in sharing your career with our students please contact Mrs. DeLuca.
    • Congratulations to Kristi Humberger, Collier County nominee for FL Teacher of the Year, and Celine Johnson, Collier County nominee for School-Related Employee of the Year.
    • We want to congratulate our assistant principal, Dr. Amity Wyss! She successfully defended her thesis and graduated from FSU.
