  • Welcome from JV

Welcome to Veterans Memorial Elementary School where we are proud to be a Leader in Me school working to develop tomorrows leaders today! We are dedicated to creating and maintaining a learning community committed to high quality teaching and learning in order to support the success of every student, teacher, and staff member in reaching high standards of performance. Each day, our teachers and staff strive for a focus on student engagement, rigor in the classroom, and innovative learning.  Our families also play a pivotal role in the success of our students and there are many ways to be involved in our school. Please consider joining our SAC (School Advisory Council) or PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), both which meet monthly. The Veterans Memorial PTO continues to organize and support the traditions that make VME such a special place by organizing events like The Growing Connection, Fall Family Fun Lab, Thanksgiving Feast, Mother/Son and Father/Daughter Events, all which help foster our schools’ Patriots Pride.
If you are interested in seeing the amazing things that go on at Veterans Memorial, follow us on Twitter at @VMEPatriots and “like” Veterans Memorial Elementary School on Facebook. It is my honor and privilege to be the principal of such an amazing school. I look forward to meeting you and having a fabulous school year!
