• 2021 CCPS App Challege

  • The Challenge:

    CCPS middle and high school students, at all levels of coding abilities, are invited to participate in the CCPS App Challenge.  Student apps will not need to be fully functional, however, they will require a mock-up version to showcase in a 2-3 minute video presentation.  A panel of community partners and district administrators will use a rubric to score all student submissions through an anonymous process.

    Key Dates:

    • Students may begin working on their apps as soon as they like
    • All submissions must be entered via the registration link provided by Friday, April 23, 2021
    • All submissions will be evaluated based on the criteria provided in the rubric
    • Finalists will be invited to participate in the Virtual CCPS App Challenge Recognition Event where winners will be announced for each category

    Student Eligibility:

    1. The Competition is open only to students who are currently enrolled in grades 6-12 in Collier County Public Schools
    2. Student participants may compete individually or in teams of up to two (2) students
    3. Students must identify a teacher who will be a point of contact for any information regarding the challenge
