Parents of bus riders make sure to download our WheresTheBus™ mobile app. This free app will provide you with timely information about the location of your child’s bus, including when it will arrive at your child’s designated bus stop.

Bus schedules are now available at bus.collierschools.com.
Parents of bus riders can look up bus stop locations using their child's Student ID and birthdate. We encourage parents to look up their child's stop location as soon as possible in order to be prepared for the first day of school.
Beginning of School YearOn the first day of school (August 13) and during the first week, we anticipate that many routes may run late, particularly during afternoon drop-off, as school staff, students, and drivers get familiar with new schedules. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Parents should expect buses to be 30 (or more) minutes late on the first day of school.
Things to keep in mind during the first week of school:- Students should arrive at their bus stop 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
- For parents of new bus riders, please help your child(ren) memorize their 6-digit student ID, which they will be asked to enter when boarding and exiting the bus until they receive their ID badges from their school.
What may cause delays during the first week of school?- Many students are first-time bus riders or attending new schools and uncertain of what bus they ride.
- School staff take extra time getting students onto buses.
- Drivers are getting familiar with new routes and/or new students, and need to take extra time at bus stops to make sure the students are dropped off at correct stops.
- Delays should be expected at the high school level as longer delays at the elementary and middle school levels will cause a trickle down effect.
Times should greatly improve over the first few weeks of school as staff and students become more familiar with their schedules. We appreciate your patience as we work to safely transport 20,000 kids daily.
