Class Offerings:

Band 1 - Beginning Band (no experience needed!)

Band 2 - Concert Band (1-2 years experience)

Band 3 - Wind Ensemble (1-2 years of experience and teacher recommendation)

Jazz Band (1-2 years of experience, teacher recommendation, must also be enrolled in a Band class)

The GGM Band program has consistently earned superior ratings at both Concert MPA and Jazz MPA for over a decade! We are currently on an 11 year streak! Around 30 of our students participate in the Solo and Ensemble MPA event, many earning Superior ratings on their solos.

FLORIDA ALL-STATE MUSICIANS

Students in the GGMS Band have the opportunity to participate in auditions for the Florida All-State Band. Auditioning into the All State Band is the highest honor a middle school band student can achieve. We have 2 alumni who have made it into this prestigious ensemble:

COLLIER COUNTY HONOR BAND

Auditions for the Collier County Middle School Honor Band take place in November, with an exciting rehearsal weekend in January culminating in a concert. Students rehearse with a guest conductor and perform with students from around Collier County. Many GGM students have earned this honor!
