    Students in the program have the opportunity to participate in:

    • Academic support
    • College and career planning
    • Leadership development
    • College Access
    • Receive coaching
    • Service-learning opportunities
    • Financial literacy, and,
    • Receive eligibility for a Florida Prepaid Scholarship

     

     

    To be eligible for the College and Career Preparation program students must meet the following criteria:

    • 10th-grade student (Class of 2027) in a public or independent school in Collier County
    • Minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA
    • Must satisfy credit requirements to be on pace to graduate in the spring of 2027
    • Must be drug and crime-free
    • Student must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or an eligible non-citizen Collier County resident
    • Meet the program income eligibility: Eligibility is limited to households with a combined income of less than $137,532.00 (‘adjusted gross income total’ for 2023 tax filers or earned income total for those not required to file a federal tax return)
    • You may be eligible to earn a Florida Prepaid Scholarship through two of our scholarship programs

     

    Applications, including information for recommenders, are due February 23 at 5 p.m. The deadline for recommendations is March 5 at 11:59 p.m. For more information, applicants can visit the Center for Leadership & Service’s website.
