NEW Volunteer Badges
Collier County School Volunteer:
I would like to thank you for all of the hard work and support you provide in our schools. Through your generous donation of time and talent, we are able to provide excellent educational opportunities to our more than 47,000 students.
As the 2018-2019 school year begins, we are excited to provide you with a new volunteer badge. This badge features a bar code which will allow you to check-in through our Concierge Pad System. The use of this ID badge will also enable the District to electronically track volunteer hours as well as check-in and check-out times. This will significantly reduce the complexity of manual tracking of volunteer hours.
If you have not done so before July 1, 2018, please update your volunteer application and have your picture taken at the school for which you volunteer. Once your picture is taken, it will take about a week to print and send your badge back to the school. You will be notified by the school when your badge is ready but this does not prevent you from volunteering during the interim.
Please be aware, front doors are locked at all schools for safety. Your new volunteer badge may be used as a photo ID for entry through the video doorbell system. Please watch the following video on how the new video doorbell system works. https://kaltura.collierschools.com/tiny/tlxin. Please remember to display your volunteer badge at all times while serving as a volunteer at a District school or at any offsite event.
If you have any questions, please contact the volunteer support staff at your school or Ellen Palys, District Volunteer Specialist, PalysEL@collierschools.com, 239-377-0151.
Thank you again for your dedication to our students and school community!
