The Department of Student Relations encompasses:
- Attendance
Parents/Guardians are responsible for their child’s attendance. Being in school daily and arriving on time, are important for academic success. - Driver License Law
The School District of Collier County must report to the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles students who have accumulated 15 unexcused absences within 90 calendar days or have dropped out of school prior to age 18. - Learnfare
Collier County Public Schools must report to the Florida Department of Children and Families students who have accumulated 15 unexcused absences within 90 calendar days or have dropped out of school prior to age 18. Assistance to families may be reduced or suspended as a result. - School Discipline
“Student Achievement and Development” is accomplished in a learning climate where the rights and responsibilities of each individual are known and respected. An atmosphere of good order and discipline is necessary for effective teaching and learning.
