UNIVERSITY INFORMATION:
1. Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Approved Contract
All universities desiring to place interns in CCPS must have a current approved contract (MOU/Affiliation Agreement) and Certificate of Insurance (COI) on file.
- Both items must be on file with the CCPS Legal Department before your university can place student interns at CCPS
- COI must name Collier County Public Schools as the additional insured

STUDENT INFORMATION:
1. Fingerprint Clearance
- Fingerprint screening is required for any college student requiring 100 hours or more in a school for an observation, field experience, or internship during a single semester.
- Interns and student teachers are required to complete fingerprint screening and be cleared based on the District guidelines used for employees prior to serving as an intern/student teacher in the classroom.
- All application requirements must be completed prior to fingerprint screening.
- Approved interns will receive an email with instructions to do the following:
- Log into the CCPS Portal
- Complete fingerprint waiver
- Schedule fingerprint screening appointment through third-party vendor (Fieldprint)
- NOTE: The fingerprint screening MUST be completed within three (3) business days of logging into the CCPS Portal
- The cost to be fingerprinted is $49.25 and will be paid when registering for the fingerprint appointment online
- Take badge photo
- Upload copy of photo ID
2. Badge Pickup
- Once fingerprint results are received and cleared, the intern will be issued a CCPS intern badge
- Badges can be picked up at the CCPS Human Resources Office located at: 5775 Osceola Trail, Naples, FL 34109
- Regular hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30AM to 4:30PM
- Our office is closed on Friday during the summer (June/July)
If you are an existing CCPS Intern and need a replacement badge, please email badgerequest@collierschools.com. The fee to replace a lost or damaged CCPS badge is $10.00 and can be paid via check or money order.
