About Us

  • Pelican Marsh Elementary first opened its doors in 1996 and is one of the highest achieving schools in Collier County. Since its inception, our school has been committed to academic excellence and maximizing student performance. We have integrated the practice of Professional Learning Communities, standards-based instruction, and data driven decision making throughout our school. It is our belief that we can best help our students reach their full potential by working together. We have established a high performance learning culture based on high expectations and a positive school culture. That these expectations are realized can be evidenced by the fact that Pelican Marsh Elementary has been an “A” school as determined by the Florida Department of Education Accountability Reporting: School Grades for the past sixteen consecutive years, and ranks in the top two percent of the 1,967 elementary schools in Florida. We also have been recognized as Gold Level Model Positive Behavior Support (PBS) School. We are fortunate in that Pelican Marsh receives extensive parent and community support and involvement. We have a very active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and School Advisory Council (SAC). We have been awarded annually with the Golden School and Five Star School Awards based on volunteer hours, business partnerships, and community involvement. We firmly believe that both our school and parents mutually benefit through such involvement and participation. We welcome you to visit our school any time!
