An Academic CompetitionOverview- Academic WorldQuest is a global affairs and U.S. foreign policy-based knowledge competition. Every year, over 4,000 high school students across the U.S. participate in local WorldQuest competitions hosted by the World Affairs Council.

2019 High School AWQ
Congratulations to Gulf Coast High School's AWQ team who won the local AWQ competition to earn a place at the national competition in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, April 27, 2019. They made us proud by showing their knowledge of international affairs, current events, Great Decisions, combating infectious disease, the European Union, and more.

2019 Middle School AWQ
On Saturday, March 23, 2019, the Naples Council on World Affairs hosted the Middle School Academic WorldQuest local competition. The format focuses on social studies and current events. Local public and private schools made up the 39 teams that competed.
