    Working Years

    LifeEvents pays a higher death benefit during working years when expenses are high and families need maximum protection.  At age 70, when expenses typically reduce, LifeEvents reduces the death benefits to better fit an employee’s needs.

     
     
     
    Throughout Retirement

    LifeEvents pays a consistent level of living benefits throughout the life of the policy in order to have long-term care benefits when they are most likely needed. These benefits can help to provide for the cost of care beyond a predetermined period. Individuals who require long-term care are generally not sick in the traditional sense, but instead, are unable to perform the basic activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, eating, toileting, continence, transferring (getting in and out of a bed or chair), walking or have a significant cognitive impairment.

     

    Pre-Existing Condition Limitation

    Benefits will not be paid for loss due to a pre-existing condition that starts during the first six months after the effective date.
