Aubrey Rogers High School
Senior Brandon Leiva is a talented left-handed pitcher on the varsity baseball team at Aubrey Rogers High School. With 4 innings pitched so far this season, Brandon has faced 12 batters, striking out 10 and walking none. Upon his graduation, Brandon plans to continue his baseball career at Penn State Greater Allegheny University.

Barron Collier High School
Senior Emerson LaOrden is a 4-year member and 2-year team captain on the boys varsity soccer team at Barron Collier High School. He led the Cougars to a State Championship while scoring 26 goals, dishing out 10 assists this season, and earning "Player of the Match" twice. Off the field, Emerson is heavily involved in the community and carries a weighted 4.86 GPA in the classroom.

Everglades City School
Senior Gena Collins is a captain and third baseman on the Everglades City School varsity softball team. She is off to a fast start this season with a .875 batting average, 5 RBIs, 8 runs scored, a .909 on-base percentage, and 100% fielding percentage. Coaches say Gena's work ethic and determination are always present; she leads by example and inspires her teammates to always be better.

Golden Gate High School
Kaden Lawhon is a senior on the boys wrestling team at Golden Gate High School, competing in the 157 Ibs weight class. So far this season, he holds an impressive 25-8 record. With his grit and determination this season, Kaden captured both the Collier County Athletic Conference Championship and District Championship, earning him a spot at Regionals.

Gulf Coast High School
Senior Nolan Nanke is a multi-sport athlete at Gulf Coast High School and serves as a captain on her swimming, soccer, and lacrosse teams. In just 5 games so far this lacrosse season, Nolan has 5 goals and 5 assists for the Lady Sharks. Off the field, she serves as a Senior Class President. Coaches believe that Nolan's leadership skills and work ethic shine through, making her a true role model for her peers.

Anastasia Irizarry
Immokalee High School
Senior Anastasia Irizarry is a weightlifter at Immokalee High School who has performed brilliantly all season in both the Traditional and Olympic lifts. She earned runner-up finishes at the Collier County Athletic Conference (CCAC) meet, finished 2nd at Districts and Regionals, and secured a State Finals berth where she finished in the top 11. She has much to be proud of this season, setting personal best lifts in the Snatch (120 Ibs), the Clean and Jerk (170 Ibs), and the Bench Press (160 Ibs).

Lely High School
Senior Fara Louissaint plays center/power forward on the girls varsity basketball team at Lely High School. She averaged 14 points and 6 rebounds per game this season, leading the Lady Trojans to a playoff berth. She was outstanding on the defensive end of the court as well, averaging 2.5 steals per game. Off the court, Fara is a peer counselor who supports students in the IB unit whose first language is Creole.

Naples High School
Senior Joslyn Baker is a talented shortstop on the Lady Eagles varsity softball team at Naples High School. She has yet to commit an error, posting a 100% fielding percentage, and is batting .625 at the plate so far this season. Joslyn excels off the diamond and in other sports as well, earning a weighted 3.7 GPA in the classroom and 2 varsity letters in girls weightlifting.

Palmetto Ridge High School
Senior Autumn Grisanti is a dual-sport athlete at Palmetto Ridge High School, participating in both cheerleading and weightlifting. She has cheered all 4 years and is known for being a great base support for her flyers. In weightlifting, she helped the Lady Bears place 1st in the Olympic lift at the Collier County Athletic Conference (CCAC) meet and 2nd at Districts. Autumn set personal best lifts this season in the Snatch (140 Ibs), the Clean & Jerk (180 Ibs), and the Bench Press (180 Ibs).

Junior Angelina Insana is a 2-year captain and point guard on the girls varsity basketball team at Aubrey Rogers High School. Angelina is averaging 14.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 6 steals per game. She currently ranks 1st in the District in steals and assists and is 3rd in scoring. Coaches say Angelina is an outstanding student-athlete with excellent leadership skills.

Barron Collier High School
Senior Alexander Bulai-Tudor is a captain on the boys varsity soccer team at Barron Collier High School. He has tallied 48 total points for the Cougars so far this season, including 20 goals and 8 assists, and he averages 1.3 goals and 3 total points per match. Alexander is currently ranked 2nd in total points, both in our District and in 4A Region 3. He also performs well in the classroom, earning a weighted 4.82 GPA.

Everglades City School
Freshman Jamere Osceola is known as a great ball handler and pure shooter from his shooting guard position on the boys varsity basketball team at Everglades City School. Jamere is averaging 21 points and 5 rebounds per game this season for the Gators. He also earned a MaxPreps "Player of the Game" honor in November. Coaches say that Jamere is an excellent defender as well, and even though he is just a freshman, they consider him one of the best players in Southwest Florida.

Golden Gate High School
Jenny Morales-Puente is a junior at Golden Gate High School. This high-performing soccer player is one of the best goalkeepers in both the District and the region. Jenny is averaging 10 saves per match and has 140 total saves so far this season. She is known for her high energy level while defending the net, and coaches say she "fuels" the team every week. Her goal is to play soccer in college after high school.

Ashlyn Butcher is a senior varsity cheerleader at Gulf Coast High School. She has cheered all 4 years for the Lady Sharks, spending 3 of those years on varsity. This flyer is known for her smile, reliability, and great team spirit. Coaches say Ashlyn's hard work and dedication is second to none, and she continually pushes herself and her teammates to always be better.

Sophomore Brihan Rodriquez is a forward/midfielder on the boys varsity soccer team at Immokalee High School. Brihan is currently the leading goal scorer in the District with 20 goals so far this season. His 10 assists show his great versatility as one of the top players in his class. Coaches say Brihan has been a committed and hard-working player all year long.

Lely High School
Senior Sentia Boyer is a 1st-year weightlifter who has made an impact this season at Lely High School. Recently, Sentia earned a 4th-place finish in the Traditional category and a 3rd-place finish in the Olympic category within her weight class. Off the mat, she is a Cadet Major in the JROTC Trojan Battalion at Lely and earns a 3.6 GPA. Her hope is to someday enlist in the United States Navy.

Senior Isabelle Graney is a skilled defender and 4-year starter on the girls varsity soccer team at Naples High School. Her stellar defense has helped the Lady Eagles to a 9-5 overall record. This multi-sport athlete has earned varsity letters in golf (1), lacrosse (2), and cross country (3). She’s also skilled in the classroom, where she currently holds a weighted 5.0 GPA and received the prestigious NHS Student-Athlete Award as a sophomore.

Yago Jaszchuk is a senior captain on the Palmetto Ridge High School boys varsity soccer team. As a dual-threat midfielder/defender, Yago has 7 total points so far this season, including 2 goals and 3 assists. He was named team MVP as a sophomore and earned Naples Daily News 1st Team All-Area honors his junior year. Yago plans to continue his soccer career while studying nursing in college next fall.

Sophomore Lukah Zherka wrestles in the 120 lbs. weight class at Aubrey Rogers High School and is dominating this season. Lukah has a record of 7-1 with a win at the Kings Classic and a 2nd place finish at the Gullis Strong Tournament. His impressive year earned him an opportunity to compete in the FHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. Good luck, Lukah!

Barron Collier High School
Barron Collier’s Eva Rothman is ranked #2 in the District in girls soccer and #18 in all of Class 4A. The sophomore is averaging 1.8 goals (13 total) a game so far this season and has earned 2 "Player of the Game" recognitions. Eva shines in the classroom as well. She received two academic awards so far - Award for Academic Excellence and BCH All-Academic Award - and currently carries a 4.48 GPA.

Everglades City School
Gena Collins is a senior co-captain on the Everglades City School girls varsity basketball team. She is nearly averaging a double-double this season from her center position, scoring 9 points and grabbing 10 rebounds per game so far this year. Gena is known for being a hard worker on the court. Coaches say her strong leadership skills and continuous desire to get better have made her a stronger player both mentally and physically.

Golden Gate High School
Wiseland Desrosiers is a freshman-starter on the Golden Gate High School girls varsity basketball team. She is one of the team’s top scorers, averaging 7 points per game so far this season. Wiseland is also a strong defender who brings effort and energy to the Lady Titans team, while performing well in the classroom and earning an A/B average so far this school year.

Junior Jasmine Barnes-Toomer is a team captain on the Gulf Coast High School wrestling team. She has an impressive 9-1 record so far this season with 7 pins and 2 technical fall victories. A 2x State qualifier, Jasmine has very high hopes of winning a State title this season. Jasmine's coaches say she displays remarkable character, unshakable determination, and an exceptional work ethic that inspires her teammates.

Timarian Howard is a sophomore at Immokalee High School and one of the best small forwards in the District. The 93 field goals he made so far this year rank him # 1 in 6A District 12. Timarian is averaging 18.8 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal per game. His coaches say that he is a true leader on campus and within the community.

Sophomore Branden Baptiste is a multi-sport athlete at Lely High School who excels both on the football field and the basketball court. Branden is averaging 11.4 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals per game so far this season from his shooting guard position. He leads off the court as well, being extremely active in the community working with youth sports in his spare time.

Senior Addison "Addi" Johnson is a dual-sport athlete at Palmetto Ridge High School, serving as a captain on the Lady Bears soccer team and a member of the track and field team. On the soccer field, Addi has scored 46 career goals (15 so far this season), giving her a 1.8 goals-per-game average. On the track, she is the current long jump school record holder and was named MVP her freshman year.

Junior Anthony Rea is a team captain and mid-fielder on the boys varsity soccer team at Aubrey Rogers High School. Anthony is having a solid season so far, scoring 8 goals on 14 shots with 2 assists in just 10 games. He was named MaxPreps "Player of the Match" after earning 4 points on 2 goals against Immokalee. Coaches say that Anthony is a true leader for his teammates on and off the field.

Senior Spencer Clayton is a team captain and 4-year player on the boys varsity basketball team at Barron Collier High School. He is one of the best guards in the area, averaging 22.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. With the Cougars’ last 3 victories, Spencer is averaging 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists per game. A member of the BCH National Honor Society, he excels off the court as well and carries a weighted 5.0 GPA.

Sophomore Olivia Demere is a key member of the girls varsity basketball team at Everglades City School. She had a strong showing in the month of November, averaging 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 8 steals per game. Coaches say Olivia is a team leader and is also an excellent free-throw shooter, making 100% of her attempts so far this season. She excels in the classroom as well, earning a 3.0 GPA.

Junior Muarilio "Leo" Solano had a fantastic cross-country season at Golden Gate High School with impressive finishes for the Titans. He placed 5th at the Collier County Athletic Conference (CCAC) meet, 10th at the 3A District meet, 15th at the 3A Regional meet (where he set a new personal record of 16:50), and ultimately, finished 64th in the 3A State Championship.

Gulf Coast High School
Sara Vitasek is a senior at Gulf Coast High School and just completed a decorated career in the sport of golf—finishing 6th overall at this year’s 2A State Championship. She leaves Gulf Coast as a 3X District Champion, 4X Collier County Athletic Conference (CCAC) Champion, and 4X State Finalist. Sara also earns an impressive 4.9 GPA and plans to continue her golf career at the University of Arizona next fall.

Junior Steeve Cenelus is a talented two-way Unified and Special Olympics football player at Immokalee High School. He plays quarterback/running back on offense and is a cornerback/pass rusher on defense. Steeve's versatility helped the Indians win both the FHSAA Division 2 Unified and Special Olympics Flag Football state titles this year. He threw 4 touchdown passes in the 38-14 Unified Championship and had 4 sacks on defense in the 21-12 Special Olympics victory.

Sophomore Jenna Andrae is a skilled defender on the girls varsity soccer team at Lely High School. As a freshman, she scored 2 goals and 4 assists from her defender position and is looking to improve upon those numbers this season. Jenna is a force off the field as well, where she carries a 3.8 GPA and serves as an active member of DECA and Student Government.

Senior Chloe Jones is a weightlifter and a member of the Golden Eagle's track and field team at Naples High School. She has shown impressive strength in the gym with a personal best max-out lift total of 290 Ibs. in Olympic weight and a max-out lift of 305 Ibs. in Traditional weight. Chloe is a varsity letter winner in track and field and also performs well in the classroom, earning a weighted 4.0 GPA.

Senior Melody Charlton is a 4-year varsity player on the Lady Bears basketball team at Palmetto Ridge High School. She is averaging 18 points per game and currently leads the District in assists and steals per game. Melody scored a season-high 29 points in a recent win against Gateway High School and set a school record by hitting 8 three-pointers in a 27-point victory over Golden Gate High School.

Sophomore Caden DiLoreto plays quarterback on the Aubrey Rogers High School varsity football team. Caden has been on fire his last 3 games, completing 50 of 94 passes for 772 yards—with 8 touchdown passes and 1 rushing touchdown. He has also set personal best records of 330 passing yards in a single game and 7 touchdowns in 1 game. The talented QB says that he really enjoys football because of “the competitive atmosphere and challenges that come from it.”

Barron Collier High School
Senior Allison Giraldo is a 4-year starter and an outside hitter on the varsity beach and court volleyball teams at Barron Collier High School. She just completed a great season with 121 kills, 165 digs, and 21 aces. She was also a key contributor to the Lady Cougars' 18-9 overall record, which included Conference and District Championships. Allison’s success extends into the classroom where she holds an impressive 4.0 GPA and 5.2 weighted GPA.

Everglades City School
Rylee Mayberry is a freshman on the Everglades City School varsity volleyball team. The setter and outside hitter had 64 aces this season, giving her an 86.3% serving percentage with 27 kills. Coaches say Rylee is a strong competitor with exceptional knowledge of the sport and the team’s best all-around player. We look forward to watching more of Rylee as she progresses through high school.

Golden Gate High School
Sam Powell is a dual-sport athlete at Golden Gate High School, playing both basketball and football for the Titans. The junior had a great football season as quarterback on the varsity team, throwing for 1,473 yards with 15 touchdowns. He set a personal best mark when he threw 8 touchdowns in a 55-32 victory over Palmetto Ridge. He’s strong in the classroom as well, earning a 3.0 GPA.

Gulf Coast High School
Javien Altine is a junior and starting running back on the Gulf Coast High School (GCH) varsity football team. He finished an incredible season with 135 carries for 1,015 yards and 10 touchdowns. Javien averaged 7.5 yards per carry and 126.9 yards per game. He became the first Shark running back to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in over 10 years. Javien is a member of the GCH Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) and earns a 3.1 GPA in the classroom.

Immokalee High School
Chris Germinal is a dual-threat junior quarterback on the Immokalee High School varsity football team. He is having a fantastic year, throwing for 1,229 yards with 13 touchdowns in 9 games. In the Indians' recent victory over Gulf Coast, Chris threw for 191 yards and 1 touchdown and earned a 119.6 QB rating. Earlier this year, Chris set a career high in rushing yards with 101 on just 6 carries.

Lely High School
Senior Azel Jean has participated in the Unified Champion Schools sports program at Lely High School for four years, competing in bowling, track, and basketball, where he excels at the center position. He led the basketball team to the State playoffs last season, demonstrating strong leadership and teamwork skills. Azel has dedicated more than 180 hours of volunteer time to nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity, and coaches say that he is an exemplary ambassador for the Special Olympics.

Senior Sean Kabengele is a defensive lineman on the Naples High School varsity football team. In 9 games this season, Sean has 35 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 7 quarterback sacks. Sean is a member of the Golden Eagle Football Team Committee, earns a 4.5 weighted GPA, and plans to attend Cornell University to continue his athletic and academic career.

Senior Maximiliano "Max" Arroyo is a 3-year starter and team captain on the boys varsity soccer team at Palmetto Ridge High School. Max plays the mid-fielder position for the Bears and is known for his aggressive style. He recorded 3 assists last year and is looking to improve those numbers this upcoming season. Coaches say that Max has a great "work rate" and leads by example. He also earns a remarkable 4.9 GPA as a full-time dual-enrollment student.

Sophomore Romeo Sararo is a talented wide receiver and defensive back on the Aubrey Rogers varsity football team. In a recent win against Palmetto Ridge, Romeo had 3 receptions for 96 yards and 3 total touchdowns (TDs). In just 2 years, he has set 6 school records including most TDs in a game (3), longest TD reception (75 yards), and most reception yards in a game (99 yards).

Barron Collier High School
Senior Gabriela "Gabi" Potoczak is a team captain on the Barron Collier girls swimming & diving team. Gabi is one of the area’s best divers and recently placed 2nd out of 15 divers at the Tarpon Invitational. She is also a district champion and 2X state qualifier in diving. Gabi’s success extends to the classroom as well, where she posts a 4.99 weighted GPA.

Freshman Ava Lenz plays the middle front position on the Everglades City School Gator volleyball team. Her dedication to the sport shows in her stats. In 30 sets played so far this season, she’s earned an 88% serving percentage with 16 aces and 48 kills. Coaches say Ava is known as an unselfish player and great teammate, gaining more confidence every time she steps onto the court.

Danya Voltaire is a senior at Golden Gate High School. In her four years, Danya has competed in the sports of soccer, lacrosse, beach volleyball, and currently hard-court volleyball. She has been one of the most consistent players for the Lady Titans this season, and her coaches say she is a positive influence on her teammates and all those around her.

Senior Ava Heskett runs the 5K on the girls cross country team at Gulf Coast High School. Ava set a personal best time of 19:41, finishing 2nd at the Lehigh Invitational. She followed that up with an impressive time of 20:25 at the DDD Sommer Invitational, placing 4th. Coaches say Ava is a great leader for a Lady Sharks team aiming for another opportunity to race at this year’s State Championship meet.

Senior Jayden Mixon is a running back for Immokalee High School’s varsity football team and one of the most talented players in the area. In a recent 44-12 victory versus Golden Gate, Jayden had 12 carries for 120 yards and 4 touchdowns (TDs). So far this season, he is averaging an incredible 8.3 yards per carry, 111.7 rushing yards per game, and has 11 total TDs for the Indians.

Senior Shannyah Bain plays the libero position on the varsity volleyball team at Lely High School. Her talents were on display earlier this month in a game versus Palmetto Ridge where she averaged 10 digs per set. She achieves in the classroom as well, taking several Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) classes while carrying a 3.7 GPA.

Aliyah Torres is a member of the girls golf team at Palmetto Ridge High School. Although a junior, she is a newcomer to the Bears golf program this year. She is making great strides in her game to achieve team and personal goals. Coaches say Aliyah is improving weekly on her total par scores and is motivated and dedicated to becoming a better golfer.

Sophomore Emily Hyrczyk is a six-rotation pin hitter on the Aubrey Rogers High School varsity volleyball team. She is coming off a great 2023 season where she compiled 130 kills, 100 digs, and 20 blocks. Coaches say Emily is already one of the team leaders in kills and passing percentage this season and is expected to continue to be a breakout player for a young Patriots varsity team.

Jacob Werner
Barron Collier High School
Jacob Werner is a senior captain on the Barron Collier boys swimming team. After a strong preseason, he is posting some impressive competitive times. In a recent meet against Bishop Verot, Jacob swam 52.60 in the 100m freestyle and recorded a 100m backstroke time of 59.56. At last year’s State Championship, Jacob helped the 400m freestyle team finish 4th overall. He shows strength in the classroom as well with a weighted 5.06 GPA entering his senior year.

Sophomore Alex Cruz runs cross country at Everglades City School. As a team captain this year, he is off to a fantastic start. Alex has already set a personal best 5K time of 22:18.0 (which is 14.4 seconds less than his best time last year) and finished 17th overall in his first meet this season. Coaches say Alex put in work over the summer to elevate his performance this season.

Miah Galban runs cross country for Golden Gate High School and is a member of the track and field team. In her first 2 cross-country races this season, Miah earned 38th place and 12th place in the 5K. She is coming off a year where she was the fastest freshman female in Collier County, finishing 15th at the District Meet. At that same meet, Miah had 2 top 5 finishes in track, placing 3rd in the 800m and 2nd in the 4x800m team relay.

Sophia Schultz is a junior outside hitter on the Gulf Coast High School varsity volleyball team. She’s on fire so far this season, collecting 37 kills, 22 digs, and 5 serving aces in just 4 games. Sophia is averaging an incredible 3.2 kills per set. Coaches say they are very impressed by her development, work ethic, and unwavering dedication to the game and her teammates.

Senior Jontay Hais is a running back and middle linebacker on the Immokalee High School Indian's football team. He’s had an explosive start to the season, rushing for 256 yards and 3 touchdowns in a big win against Barron Collier. This team leader and versatile player makes big plays from his middle linebacker position on defense and contributes to special teams as well. Coaches say Jontay has been a big part of the resurgent IHS football team.

Sophomore Ninaud Joseph is a team captain and running back on the Trojan varsity football team at Lely High School. Madison Bates is a dual threat on the Naples High School swimming and diving team. As a captain on the diving team, she is leading the way for the Lady Eagles, placing first in every meet so far this season. On the swimming side, Madison recently placed 2nd in the 50m freestyle with an impressive time of 29.38.

Michael Nguyen
Palmetto Ridge High School
Senior captain Michael Nguyen is a two-year starter on the Palmetto Ridge High School varsity football team. Michael anchors the offensive line from his center position and is a defensive tackle for the Bears’ defensive line. Coaches say Michael is a strong voice on the team, always encouraging his teammates and holding them accountable. He leads in the classroom as well, posting a 4.53 GPA entering his senior year.
