" Welcome to Big Cypress Elementary…Home of the honest, kind, and responsible BOBCATS. It is a privilege to be the principal of a school with such dedicated students, parents and staff! If you haven’t had a chance to visit us, our campus has a distinctive, natural setting with a beautiful koi pond, butterfly and school garden and our famous “Paw’s Garden” home to many native plants and wildlife. Unique to BCE, our Related Arts rotation includes an innovative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) class. There are many ways to be involved in our school, so please consider joining the SAC (School Advisory Council) or the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) that meet monthly. Our active PTA hosts events throughout the school year like our Parent Breakfasts, Book Fair, Harvest Festival, Holiday Shop, Ice Cream Social, and Bobcat Walk.
