This event is designed to bring the focus of health and wellness to Collier County students, teachers, school staff, and the community. In 2019, there were over 2,100 participants with 100% of schools participating, making it the 2nd largest 5K event in Collier County. This year, we want to bring 2,500 people together to run or walk in an effort to raise awareness of healthy living. The school district is committed to promoting wellness, nutrition, and an active lifestyle. Proceeds from the event will support District schools. Supporting this 5K Walk-Run helps impact all 50,000 CCPS students. This is one of the few initiatives that can offer that scope of impact.
