Message from Principal Kelly Bergey

  • School Principal

    Kelly Bergey has been a resident of Collier County and has had the pleasure of being employed with Collier County Public Schools for 11 years. She has served in several roles during that time including ESE Inclusion teacher, resource teacher, Math and Science teacher, ESE Specialist, Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction and most recently as the Principal at Golden Gate Elementary School for the past four years. Ms. Bergey is originally from Philadelphia, where she graduated from Cabrini University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Special Education. She received her Master’s in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. She is extremely excited to join Corkscrew Elementary School Community! It is a wonderful school community where “Excellence is Expected” as we continue to push strong student achievement and student voice through our Leader in Me journey.

    School Aged Child Care Programs located in nine Collier County Public Schools are operating in accordance with the F.S. Licensing standard; child care facilities guideline 402.307(4)6.  Our programs will serve only school aged children.

     

    CCPS SACC Eligibility

    Children must be enrolled in an elementary school within Collier County Public Schools or any of the District sanctioned Charter schools to be eligible for services provided by SACC.


    Age requirements:  A child who is at least five years of age by September 1st and who is attending kindergarten through grade 5.  All  elementary children may attend through the summer following his/her last year in elementary school.

  • Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) & Head Start Program

    Attention parents of children who will be 4 years old by September 1. We offer a high quality full day Pre-K program right here at our school. Applications are currently being accepted for the upcoming school year. For more information, please call 377-2500 or visit the Pre-K district website
