• PRHS Daily Announcements


    • Mu Alpha Theta, the math honor society, is having a meeting today. All are welcome to join! You may attend either virtually or in room 570 right after school. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Tassoni, or stop by room 570.

    • Starting next week, the girls’ basketball team will meet for preseason workouts Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Workouts are from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Mondays we will meet on the outside courts, and Tuesdays/Thursday we will be in the weight room. If you’re a freshman interested in basketball, please join us for our preseason workouts! Feel free to contact Coach Stoneman at stoneh1@collierschools.com.

    • Are you interested in becoming a student technology assistant? The 14 students chosen for this position will spend one class period per day in the Media Center assisting our Systems Support Technician with helping their fellow students with computer issues. This position is for students that want to be a proactive solution to technology issues for our students. Please see your guidance counselor if you are interested in one of these positions. Please see Mr. Chouinard if you have any further questions pertaining to the position.

    • Lunch is free for all students until December 31st.

    • Attention Seniors, mark your calendars: FREE MONEY starting October 1st. All seniors may complete the FAFSA for Financial Aid. The sooner you get in, the more you could get. The information can be found on Canvas under Guidance, on Twitter, and the PRHS website. Again, October 1st is the date for seniors to complete the FAFSA. So get your FSA ID NOW, and have your parents gather their tax information. Be ready for Oct. 1st!

    • Students, are you interested in learning how to play tennis and possibly competing on the school’s team?  If so, you can sign up for boys’ or girls’ tennis any time this week in the Activities Office.

    • Now that the Media Center is open, please return any books from last school year; this includes library books and textbooks. Freshman, if you still have books from middle school, you may bring those to the Media Center as well.

    • Yearbooks are on sale at this time for only $75!  Please visit jostensyearbooks.com to order your book now.  Books ordered before the end of September will receive free personalization and four free icons!

    • All virtual underclassmen who wish to be in the yearbook will have to make an appointment for their pictures between 3:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 6th.  Pictures will be taken in the auditorium and students will enter from the auditorium lobby.  Parents must remain in their car, on campus while their students are photographed.  Only students being photographed will be allowed in the auditorium and facemasks are mandatory while waiting in a socially distanced line.  Appointments can be made by accessing this scheduler:
