• PRHS Daily Announcements

    All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students, and select seniors will be testing on-campus on Tuesday, April 13th. Attendance is mandatory; virtual students should be on-campus no later than 7:00am and will enter through the Media Center; testing begins at 7:10am.


    • Any Boy or Girl interested in learning to play golf and to play on the PRHS Golf Team for the Fall of 2021 should sign up in the Activities Office.
    • Student Relations is having the next PBIS Drawing today! The prizes will be a $10 Subway gift card, a $10 Amazon gift card, a $10 Starbucks gift card, a $15 Ulta gift card and a free yearbook. You can go to Student Relations to submit an entry and you’ll have until 12:15pm to enter. It costs 2 bear bling to enter for the gift cards and 3 bear bling to enter for a yearbook.

    • Students, starting Monday, April 12 at lunch, tickets will be on sale for The Ridge Players production of She Kills Monsters. She Kills Monsters is a comedy set in the world of fantasy role-playing games that tells the story of high schooler Agnes Evans as she deals with the death of her younger sister, Tilly. When Agnes stumbles upon Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s sanctuary. This show is rated PG-13. Tickets are $5.00 for both shows and are available at lunch in the Media Center. The shows are Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 at 7:00pm. Seating is limited, so it is important to purchase your tickets in advance. See Miss Machol in the Media Center if you have any questions.

    • Yearbooks will be on campus in about a month.  Don’t miss out on the opportunity to purchase your copy of Y[OUR] Story, a compilation of the weirdest school year we have ever had!  Yes, some day, we will look back on this year and laugh, and you will want to have a copy of the PRHS Yearbook to help remind you of the craziness that was the 20-21 school year!  Books are available online at jostensyearbooks.com until April 30 for $85 or by stopping by room 516 during lunch with cash or check made payable to PRHS.  Preorder yours now; we have fewer than 200 left to sell!

    • Seniors: Make sure you are applying for scholarships.  Visit the School Counselor 2021 Canvas page, scroll down and click on Student Resources, scroll down and click on Scholarships.  Local scholarships with deadlines are posted there and there is also a link to the Scholarship Connector or you can go to www.swflscholarships.org, click Find Scholarships, click Start New Search, enter information, and scholarships that you are eligible for will appear.  Good luck! The money is out there waiting for students to apply.

    • Students, need to speak to your counselor? You can schedule an appointment in canvas by clicking on the form link at the top of the School Counselors 20-21 home page.

    • Lunch is free for all students until May 2021.

    • Please return all overdue library books and textbooks, including those from other schools, to the Media Center as soon as possible. We are open daily from 6:45am until 2:30pm.
