Dr. Cox
PrincipalI am excited to be the Principal at Cypress Palm Middle School and to be part of the Cypress Palm school community. Originally an Ohio farm girl, we moved to Florida in 1995. I began my career in Collier County as an ESE teacher at Immokalee Middle School, East Naples Middle School and Barron Collier High School. Beginning in 2004, I served as an administrator at Barron Collier High School, Gulfview Middle School, East Naples Middle School, and then accepted a position in Human Resources as the Coordinator for Secondary Staffing in 2012-2014. I then returned to school administration serving as the Assistant Principal for Curriculum & Instruction at Gulf Coast High School and this past year at Barron Collier High School.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University. I have a M.S. degree in Learning Disabilities, Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership. My husband is an Assistant Principal for Curriculum & Instructional for the Alternative Schools. I have two daughters, Emilie and Madeline. Emilie lives in Chicago and works as a Senior Copywriter for MedLine. Madeline is attending University of Central Florida where she is a Biology major.
Amanda Holderfield
Assistant PrincipalMy name is Amanda Holderfield and I am so excited for my second year as Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Cypress Palm Middle School. I am originally from Rochester, New York and am a graduate of SUNY Fredonia and SUNY Geneseo. I taught at both the high school and middle school levels for two years in New York before moving to Florida with my husband in 2011. The majority of my career in Collier County has been at the high school level, where I taught English for six years before serving as an assistant principal for four years. I cannot wait for another great year with the students, families, and staff of our Cypress Palm community.
Hi there Sabrecat families! My name is Kriste Eaton and it is an honor to be the Assistant Principal of Attendance and Discipline. I graduated from Central Michigan University with my Bachelor of Science in Education and received my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. I am entering my 25th year in education with the last five being an assistant principal. I am very proud to be a part of the Sabrecat family. I look forward to working with our students, families, and staff.
