    Clubs at Oakridge

    All clubs are open to any students at OMS that meet the specific club requirements.

    Academic World Quest:  Meets Tuesday mornings at 8 AM with Ms. Forrest in room 4-102 Students compete against other CCPS middle schools in a history competition.

    Bulldog Bulletin:  Meets Tuesdays at 8:30 with Ms. Duplaa in room 5-209, OMS newsletter participants will write articles, take pictures and conduct interviews.

    Debate Team:  Meets Wednesday at 8:30 AM with Ms. Selden in room 3-109, Team members compete with other CCPS middle schools on topics that are in the news today.

    Math Counts:  Meets Wednesday after school with Ms. O’Rourke in room 4-202. A competitive Math Team for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. There will be a County Competition in December and a Regional Competition in January. Last year our team qualified to go to the State Competition in Orlando! It is open to all students who wish to have some fun with Math and improve their skills. We will begin in September.

    Noetics:  Meets Wednesday after school with Ms. O’Rourke in room 4-202. Competitive Math Team for 6th grade only. We will have one school based competition and one County Competition. Students can earn certificates and medals on a National level.
    This club will begin in December.

    Scholar Bowl:  Meets Friday morning 8:15 with Ms. Street in room 3-107. Students compete against CCPS Middle schools in a Jeopardy style competition.
