    Welcome to Big Cypress Elementary School, proud home of the Bobcats. I started my teaching career in 1988 at Big Cypress Elementary School and I have made a full circle to now being the principal of Big Cypress Elementary School. At BCE, we believe that every student has the potential to achieve excellence, and it is our mission to provide the environment and opportunities to make this a reality.

    Our dedicated teachers and staff are continuously striving to enhance their instructional practices through professional development and innovative teaching strategies. We are committed to creating a culture of high expectations and support, where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.     I am honored to join the BCE Bobcat family as your Assistant Principal. I am passionate about supporting teachers and guiding students with diverse needs to success by utilizing strategies that celebrate their individual experiences.

    I've been in education for 10 years, starting as a special education teacher and working my way up to Assistant Principal. I've worked in a few different schools in our district, always striving to give students the best education possible. My goal is to create lasting change in teachers, students, and families to provide exceptional educational opportunities that motivate, engage, and prepare students for a lifetime of learning and growth.
