Mr. Ryan Nemeth

I’m Ryan Nemeth, the Principal of Immokalee Middle School.  I relocated to Florida from upstate New York after I graduated from Siena College, in Albany.  This school year marks my 20th year in Collier County.  I have worked as a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade social studies teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and Principal.  I love sports, especially baseball.  I am an avid runner, love to travel, and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I can’t think of a better level in which to work than middle school.  The ever-constant changing world of adolescents keeps my job exciting, and always creates something new each day.  Watching the students grow from elementary students entering 6th grade and leaving us as high school students when they complete 8th grade is very rewarding.  I truly feel that adults in middle school have the greatest impact on the path students will take as they progress into high school and beyond.

Dr. Jenny Knutowski

I am Jenny Knutowski, one of the Assistant Principals of Curriculum and Instruction at Immokalee Middle School. As a Florida native, I am a proud product of Collier County Public Schools and graduate of The University of Florida! I am entering my 14th year in education and have served a variety of roles: Classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, Intervention Support Specialist, Title I Migrant Program Manager and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Program Specialist. I love spending time with my family and friends, especially at the beach.

As a mother of two, the connection between school and home is important to me. Parents are a child’s first teachers. Open communication and strategic goal setting are key components to student success. All stakeholders need to work together to help students realize their potential. I am truly honored to be an IMS Indian and to be part of the Immokalee community!
