• Dual enrollment allows students to earn college credits for free while still enrolled in high school.  The student can take courses that fulfill both their high school requirements and earn college credit at the same time, if they meet the eligibility requirements for dual enrollment.

    Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU)

         Admission Criteria:
              Take an SAT or ACT and receive qualifying scores
              Minimum 3.7 weighted GPA and 3.0 unweighted GPA
              Essay responses are vital
              Must attend full-time as a Junior and/or Senior

              Attend Public Information meeting
              Create FGCU account and complete ACE application
              Submit supplemental forms as requested
              Submit official test scores and transcripts

    Florida Southwestern (FSW)

         Admission Criteria:
              Apply to FSW
              Minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA
              Qualifying score on at least one of PERT, SAT or ACT  
              Full-time and part-time options available

        Application Process:
              Meet with high school counselor
              Apply on-line at: www.fsw.edu/admissions/dual
              Once emailed a student number can register to take the PERT for free at FSW if needed
