School Institutional Advisory Council (SIAC)

  • School Institutional Advisory Councils sets up priorities and student performance standards that serve as guiding principles for schools. This council is composed of the director and a balanced number of elected teachers, education support employees, students, along with appointed business and community people, who are representative of the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by the school.

    The School Institutional Advisory Council looks at aspects of their school as suggested by the priorities and develops a written School/Institutional Improvement Plan as part of the school and District’s continuous growth model.
