WelcomeWe appreciate your interest in choosing Lorenzo Walker Technical College as your post secondary school. With over twenty-five programs, LWTC is an excellent choice to help you meet your educational and training goals.
Our faculty and staff members are focused on providing rigorous and challenging state-of-the-art career and technical programs that prepare our students with the knowledge, skills and behaviors expected by Collier County employers.

How To Apply- Complete an online application.
- Pay a $40.00 non-refundable school application fee (good for one year and one program enrollment).
- Complete Career and Technical Education Registration (CTE Registration) on student portal.
Determines:
- Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes
Documents to Support Claim of Florida Residency - Provide official transcripts
-Request from your former high school or college and have sent to Lorenzo Walker Technical College. For GED transcripts, visit www.ged.com
- Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes
- Take Basic Skills Exam, if not exempt. Contact student services to schedule exam.
If applying for Practical Nursing applicants must take TEAS.
- Exemptions:
- Standard High School diploma from a Florida public high school in 2007 or later
- College degree at the Associate’s level or higher
- 2014 Florida GED or attained minimum score on Language and Math
- Exemptions:
- Once registration is approved, a workforce education advisor will review your registration and notify you of your next steps.
