• Melina Parris (6th grade) won the Grand Prize Award and $200 in Physics. She will be headed to the state competition for her project titled, “Harnessing Solar Energy to Make a S’moretacular Dessert”.
     
    Noah Marshall (8th grade) won 2nd place in Chemistry and $75 for his project titled, “The Amount of Toxic Gases Released From Burning Household Materials”. 
     
    Alexander Ewy (8th grade) won the Grand Prize Award and $200 in Earth/Environmental Sciences an a FGCU Scholarship! He will be headed to the state competition for his project titled, “How Varying Levels of Urbanization Increase or Decrease Carbon Dioxide Levels”. 
     
    Sarah Dabees (8th grade) won the Grand Prize Best in Show for all the Jr. Section (the BEST out of all the middle school participants!!) and $500 for her project. She will be heading to the state competition for her project titled, “Harnessing Waste Energy Using Thermoelectric Generators”.
