IET CAREER PATHWAYS

DESCRIPTION

  • IET classes are designed to build foundational language, communication, employability, and occupational skills. IET classes provide adult education and literacy activities concurrently and contextually with workforce training for a specific occupation. The purpose of IET is to prepare students for a successful transition into a career.

STUDENTS

  • To participate in these classes students must:
    • be at an ESOL level 5 or above in both reading and listening
    • attend orientation and testing
    • pay $30 tuition per term (if not already enrolled in another Adult Ed class)

    Students must:
    • be on time for each class
    • be able to complete at least 90% of the required class hours
    • be available to pre-test and post-test
