  • Divers Needed

Barron Collier High School needs divers for the 2024-25 school year! We are graduating 6 seniors from this year’s team which will leave us with only one diver with meet experience. Although a gymnastics background certainly helps, any student-athletes with an interest in diving are encouraged to give it a try.

As part of the Swimming and Diving team, Barron Collier divers play an essential role in the success of our team at championship meets. Without divers, we would not have won our last 3 CCAC Combined Championships, and our 2019 Boys’ team would not have won the Regional meet prior to winning Collier County’s only team State Championship in Swimming and Diving. Two of our divers earned State Championship rings for being a part of that team. Neither of them had ever competed in diving prior to joining the Barron Collier diving team.

Last year, we had 3 divers qualify for State, 2 of whom had never competed in diving before. As a coach with over 40 years of experience, I have developed, and continue to develop, techniques toward guiding every athlete, from the raw beginner to State Champions and All-Americans, to reach their fullest potential. Our program is totally geared to the individual, almost completely unstructured, and incredibly fun. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we take the science and art of our sport very seriously!

Our program attracts some of the most successful students in our school. I am consistently amazed by their accomplishments away from the pool, and it is my pleasure to be involved with so many great kids year in and year out. As a coach, it is very freeing for me to have such student leaders that I consider each year’s team as their team, not mine. If you know of anyone who possesses the qualities that might make them a good fit for our team, please have them contact me for more information.

  • We are using the all digital platform for ticket purchases this year, and if you purchase a parking pass for reserved seating, Kim Cuesta will make you one for the parking at the games (pick up in Activities Office):

We are also offering the BCHS student pass for all home events on campus
(regular season events only- does not include pre season or post season events).  This is also digital online with GoFan:

As of 5/10/23, the Collier County School District is switching over to a program called Aktivate for all of our Activities Dept. paperwork needs. The website and sportsyou app will no longer be used. Home campus is built into Aktivate so all of your needs will be in one place for info/documents/communication. Please see the instructions attached and if you have any questions please email us and ask. This will take place starting today for any summer needs and for the fall of 2023 moving forward.
